As Prime Video continued its global expansion, the brand faced a growing challenge: how to maintain a consistent identity across regions, platforms, and an increasingly complex content ecosystem.

The opportunity was to evolve the brand into a flexible system—one that could scale globally while still allowing for local expression and cultural nuance.

Role & Responsibilities

Design Director

  • Led the development and evolution of the global Prime Video brand system

  • Defined core visual principles across typography, layout, and motion

  • Partnered with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and regional stakeholders to ensure global alignment

  • Guided internal teams and external agencies in applying the system across campaigns and platforms

  • Balanced hands-on design direction with strategic oversight to maintain quality and consistency

Execution

The system came to life as a modular toolkit designed to scale across Prime Video’s global ecosystem. Visual components, motion principles, and layout structures were built to support a wide range of content—from original series launches to platform-wide campaigns.

We developed guidelines that extended beyond static design, incorporating motion behavior, pacing, and compositional logic to ensure consistency across AV, digital, and environmental applications. The system was adopted across internal teams and external partners, enabling faster, more cohesive creative output at scale.
